Hi and welcome!

My name is Annika and I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I have a PhD and work as a researcher, teacher, author and lecturer in business management. However, I have recently taken up a new hobby. Sewing. It’s a great companion to my intellectual work.

This is a blog about sewing. You will follow my journey in learning new skills and completing sewing projects.

I would like to follow your blog. How do I do this?

    • So sweet of you to want to follow my blog!
I added a Follow me by e-mail button on the right blog panel. Klick there and enter your e-mail and it should all be done. 😉

Just found your blog and read you recently taken up sewing. May I ask how long you’ve been sewing? Your garments are quite lovely and I hope to one day be able to sew that well (I’m very much a novice when it comes to sewing. I bought a Viking Sapphire 875Q a year ago and having a good machine has helped me immensely!)
I look forward to following your blog to see what you sew next!

  3. Hello Annika- I just found your blog when searching for info re: French Curve. I bought one very similar to the one you illustrate. How do you use it? I’m not sure I understand when and/or where to use it. You’re a great sewer, I can’t believe that you have only been sewing for 2 years!!
